Muchamad Kenny Rizki Daeng Macallo

 

Kenny Macallo is a highly experienced trial lawyer and negotiator who has been practicing since 2002. He works on a broad range of disputes, mainly focusing on criminal matters and industrial relations disputes. Kenny has assisted clients at all stages of criminal proceedings (from the police investigation to the criminal trial) with respect to various criminal matters, such as fraud, embezzlement, forgery, and unfair business competition matters. Kenny has also assisted clients in corruption investigations carried out by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

As an employment litigation lawyer, Kenny has frequently assisted clients by bringing disputing parties to the negotiation table and securing out-of-court settlements, allowing clients to effectively manage their legal costs. Kenny has also spoken at various conferences on employment disputes.

Kenny also focuses on compliance matters. His substantial experience in handling corruption cases allows him to provide not only theoretical, but also practical perspectives on compliance issues. Kenny has assisted and represented clients in conducting internal compliance audits, including anti-bribery, anti-corruption, or code of conduct investigations.

Before practicing at MHM, Kenny was an Associate Partner at HHP Law Firm, a member firm of Baker & McKenzie International in Indonesia, where he spearheaded the criminal, employment litigation, and compliance practice. Kenny graduated from the Faculty of Law, Parahyangan Catholic University in 2001, and is a member of the Indonesian Bar Association (PERADI). Turangga Harlin, S.H., LL.M., MCIArb.

Turangga has extensive experience in commercial disputes. He has advised clients on a variety of disputes, encompassing distributorship, shareholder, joint venture, banking and finance, and construction disputes. Turangga has represented clients in cross-border disputes involving a number of jurisdictions, as well as complex civil cases, such as multi-party litigation and citizen lawsuit cases. He is also well experienced in corporate crimes and various state administrative disputes, including those concerning revocation of mining and distribution licenses.

As a dispute lawyer, Turangga has assisted and represented clients in arbitration proceedings before domestic and international arbitration institutions. He has also defended clients in setting aside proceedings of foreign arbitral awards before the Central Jakarta District Court. Turangga’s articles on arbitration have appeared in publications including the YSIAC Newsletter, Kluwer Arbitration Blog, as well as IPBA (Inter-Pacific Bar Association) Journal.

Before practicing at MHM, Turangga was a Senior Associate at HHP Law Firm, a member firm of Baker & McKenzie International in Indonesia. He graduated cum laude from the Faculty of Law, Trisakti University in 2006, and obtained his master’s degree from National University of Singapore in 2009. Turangga is a member of the Indonesian Bar Association (PERADI) and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb), London, UK. Andika Mendrofa

 

Andika’s practice encompasses a wide range of corporate and major projects deals. Andika has advised on mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, foreign investment, and joint ventures transactions, and he has extensive experience in energy and natural resources as well as infrastructure projects, including power and mining.

Before practicing at MHM, Andika worked at HHP Law Firm, a member firm of Baker & McKenzie International in Indonesia. He graduates from the Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia, and obtains his master’s degree from the University of Prasetiya Mulya. Andika is a member of the Indonesian Bar Association (PERADI) and the Capital Market Legal Consultants Association (HKHPM).

Bima Sarumpaet

 

Bima has extensive experience in matters relating to property, M&A, and hotel and tourism. He has assisted international and domestic clients in various high-profile M&A and structured property deals relating to, among other things, logistics, data centers, real estate investment trusts (REITs), anchor leases, and joint ventures and acquisitions in the industrial, commercial, and residential property sector.

Bima is recognized as a leading individual in the 2021 Legal 500 for real estate and he is ranked as band 1 in the 2022 Chambers Asia Pacific for real estate.

Before practicing at MHM, Bima was a Partner and Head of the Real Estate Group at HHP Law Firm, a member firm of Baker & McKenzie International in Indonesia. He graduated from the Faculty of Law, Atma Jaya Catholic University in 2005. Bima is a member of the Indonesian Bar Association (PERADI).

Brian Manuel

Brian has an extensive experience in commercial dispute resolution practice areas, including investment, shareholder, and aviation and shipping disputes, bankruptcy/restructuring, as well as investigation and other compliance-related works. He was involved in a number of major dispute-related matters, such as the debt restructuring of Mandala and Batavia airlines, PT Berlian Laju Tanker in 2016 (this was named as Restructuring Deal of the Year in 2016), class action proceedings, as well as local and international arbitration proceedings in various areas, such as oil and gas, construction, banking, real estate and aviation.

Brian has assisted Indonesian conglomerates, multi-national companies, state-owned banks, and state-owned enterprises in dispute and general corporate matters, including in negotiating a divestment plan of a major US-based mining company with the Government of Indonesia.

Before joining MHM, Brian held position as Associate Partner at HHP Law Firm, a member firm of Baker & McKenzie International in Indonesia. He graduated from Columbia University School of Law for his LL.M degree, after graduating from the Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia. Helena Sitorus

Helena has extensive experience in handling a wide range of corporate and commercial transactions, including merger and acquisitions, joint venture transactions, and corporate restructuring. She has advised domestic and international clients on foreign direct investment, corporate compliance, general corporate matters, and digital initiatives across a variety of industries such as healthcare and pharmaceutical, food and beverage, trading, and manufacturing.

With her deep expertise in healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors, Helena has advised clients on business expansions strategies, local distributor engagement and termination, product licensing requirements, day-to-day corporate compliance exercises, as well as procurement and tender process by governmental institutions.

Before practicing at MHM, Helena was a legal counsel at an Indonesian investment arm of a global pharmaceutical company after practicing law at prominent Indonesian law firms, including HHP Law Firm, a member firm of Baker & McKenzie International in Indonesia. She graduated cum laude from the Faculty of Law, Padjadjaran University in 2009, and obtained her master’s degree from Erasmus University Rotterdam in 2017 on a scholarship awarded by the Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP). Dion Reinaldo

Dion joined the firm in mid-2017. He has been deeply involved in various commercial disputes, including distributorship, construction, property, and shareholder disputes. Dion’s experience includes representing clients in state administrative and arbitration proceedings. He has also assisted clients in criminal investigations into a variety of crimes, such as forgery, fraud, and embezzlement.

Dion graduated from the Faculty of Law, Parahyangan Catholic University. Before joining MHM, Dion was an Associate at Rosetini & Partners, where he was involved in several corporate and commercial transactions, as well as general corporate matters. Prior to this, he was an Intern at Assegaf Hamzah & Partners.

Maria Kadi Justine Nitisara

Maria joined the firm in late 2021, after having previously interned at a boutique law firm in Jakarta. Maria focuses primarily on general corporate and commercial law matters. Since joining MHM, Maria has been involved in a variety of projects and advised clients from various industries such as healthcare, pharmaceutical, and financial technology.

Maria graduated from Padjadjaran University, majoring in business law in 2020. Maria was awarded a scholarship by Bank Indonesia in pursuing her bachelor’s degree. She was also active in a number of student organizations.

Maria has passed the Indonesian Bar Association (PERADI) exam.

Michelle Yosefanny

Michelle joined the firm in early 2020. She has been deeply involved in a wide array of commercial disputes, including insurance, oil and gas, and shareholder disputes. Michelle’s experience includes representing clients in industrial relations disputes. She has also assisted clients in police investigations and an investigation by the Business Competition Supervisory Commission (KPPU).

Michelle graduated from the Faculty of Law, Parahyangan Catholic University. Prior to joining MHM, Michelle practiced with Budidjaja International Lawyers where she was involved in both litigation and general corporate matters.

Nisya Ullyza R. Siregar

Nisya joined the firm in late 2021 and focuses her practices on general corporate matters and transactions. She has been involved in some due diligence matters and initial public offering project. Nisya has also assisted clients in setting up their business in Indonesia, including assisting clients in obtaining their general and supporting licenses.

Nisya graduated from Faculty of Law, Padjadjaran University. Before joining MHM, Nisya worked as in-house legal officer in a public company who runs in property and retail industry based in Jakarta, where she was involved in drafting and reviewing contracts around the area of lease agreement and operational agreement in accordance with retail management. Nisya has passed the Indonesian Bar Association (PERADI) exam.

Novia Asri Widyasari

Novia joined the firm in early 2019. Since then, she has been intensely involved in a number of commercial disputes, including contractual, distributorship, and shareholder disputes. Novia has also assisted clients in state administrative disputes and criminal investigations into various crimes such as forgery, fraud, and embezzlement.

Shanti Prameshwara Sotyaningtyas

Shanti joined the firm shortly after her graduation and focuses her practices on general corporate matters and transactions related to foreign investment, acquisitions, mining, and power projects.
